Design1880, R-FIT and Qinomic are pleased to announce a unique partnership on the joint development of the FIAT 500 retrofit.
With the will to unite the strengths of each company, Design1880, R-Fit and Qinomic have chosen to join forces to co-develop the retrofit kit for the FIAT 500.
Recognized in the retrofit industry for its technological expertise, Qinomic - a high-tech company from Aix-en-Provence specialized in innovative and sustainable solutions for mobility - is already working on the engineering of the project.
R-FIT, known for having designed the first retrofit kit approved in France, will supply elements of the electric powertrain. R-FIT has just announced a partnership with Renault for the conversion of iconic models of the aforementioned brand.
Design1880 is a Bordeaux-based company that offers retrofit and customization solutions for old cars. With a strong focus on user experience, Design1880 will also be in charge of marketing the vehicles.
Design1880 will exhibit its prototype of the Fiat 500 at Retromobile 2023. The developments will continue during 2023 for a marketing start at the end of the year.

for more recent cars. 1880's ambition is the modernization of uses, with a
focus on the user experience on the one hand and the monitoring of this system on the other hand.
Retrofit kits allowing to transform a thermal car into an electric one via its commercial brand
R-FIT. Thanks to this transformation, R-FIT gives life to a "Zero emission" vehicle, with an original design
and allowing access to large urban areas (ZFE).
